WE ARE AILEENS is a short film produced by women of Aileen’s featuring our peers discussing the legacy of our namesake, Aileen Wuornos, how we have encountered and dealt with bad dates, and how we support each other. It premiered in December 2022 in conjunction with the International Day to End Violence Against Sex Workers.
Aileen’s is a peer-led community organizing and hospitality space for women working along the Pac Highway in south King County, Washington. “WE ARE AILEENS” was supported by funding from the Old Pro Project.
